Amazon Prime brings Formula One to streaming audiences

Streaming services are betting big on sports broadcasts. Earlier, we told you about how these services were streaming football. Adding to that is Formula One, which will be a totally new channel – F1 TV Channel, this could potentially add a crore subscribes. However, these broadcasts will not be available all over the world – the broadcasts will be available only in countries where the local broadcaster doesn’t have exclusive rights.

Amazon Prime is already increasing the genres that they are giving to customers. It recently started comic web series, stand up web series with some of the biggest names in the Indian comedy stand up series. They also brought Amazon Prime Remix, a web series that pitted upcoming singers in a competition, judged by some of the biggest names in the industry.

With newer and older streaming platforms working on giving more and more and content to their viewers, it’s the audience who should be ready to more entertainment at the same prices that they are paying.
