Improve the Google ranking of your blog

Improving the rankings of your blog in the search results will generate more free traffic to your site, which will generate more activity if the traffic is relevant!

Spend as much time creating quality content, ideally you want Google to reward you by ranking your blog post higher in Google search results for relevant searches. Optimizing your content can be difficult and can look like a maze trying to find the best approach.

But do not be afraid, there are ways to improve this!

Below you will find a list of ways to improve the ranking of your content on Google and to show you how to get the best score.

1.     Adjust the title of your page
The title of your page is called "meta tag". This is something that is not visible on your website, but Google is looking for this title tag and is one of the most important page elements for the Google search algorithm. By improving your title, this can help improve the ranking of your publication by Google.
When you originally created your blog post, you may have created a "title tag". If you have it, you can modify it, if you have not already done so, you can create one. If you optimize your title tag, it can improve Google's ranking of your publication or the ranking of your page.

One way to modify it is to bring the important keywords closer to the beginning of your title. The words at the beginning of your title are more important than the words at the end.

For example, if you are writing an article about optimizing your website, its title could be:
"How to optimize your website to improve speed"

If I start a search on Google Keyword Planner, I find that the optimization of the speed of the website is sought on average 720 times per month. The "speed of the site" is searched 201 000 times, but I know it will be difficult to classify it.

So, if I wanted to position myself in optimizing the speed of the site, I could change the title to:
Optimizing the speed of the site: how to improve the speed of your site
I do not always use the keywords you want to rank at the beginning of the title, but you can do it sometimes.

Action: Check the titles of your pages and optimize them.

2.       Reuse your content on SlideShare
Slideshare is a very popular platform for sharing presentations. If you have a PowerPoint presentation or the document you want to share, you can upload to SlideShare.
SlideShare is a very popular tool because there is so much content each day, Google indexes all content in seconds.

If you take a blog post and turn it into a SlideShare presentation on Slideshare and Fees, it will be indexed in seconds and there is a good chance that the content has a high score on Google.
The good news is that because you're taking your existing content and reusing it, it's something you can give someone else to do it.

Advertising your content helps you get more links to your content and Slideshare is good for that. You can also create a publication by LinkedIn and integrate the Slideshare presentation.
Action: For more information on Slideshare, you can purchase Todd Wheatlands' excellent book: The Marketing Guide at Slideshare.

3.   Optimize your images

If you have not optimized your images in your blog posts, you miss a turn. Image search traffic is not obtained, but all the traffic support and image optimization helps with the general classification of the blog post because it gives Google more indicators that the publication is.

Here is an image search for the slideshare book we mentioned. As you can see, Todd and his book are clearly visible!

When you upload an image, here's what you need to do:

Image Name: Include the relevant keywords in your image name. Do not name it 13235.jpg!
Image title: Give a good title to your image. When you do a search, you will see the title and a good title will improve your clickthrough rate.

Alternative Image Label: This is the most important element. Google will index the content based on this tag, so choose your keywords wisely.

Image Size: When your webpage is long to load, Google may penalize it. Therefore, make sure you do not have images with the quality level that is not required for your publication.
Title: The title is the text that appears under the image and describes its contents. It is not used for SEO, but it is important to help the search engine to provide good details of what the image is about.

4. Improve your internal link to the publication

When the Google index pages of your website, will follow the links (unless you set up a banner that says not to follow). By following the links, it is possible to index and categorize other content on the Web.

If you have a fashion blog and write about the 2013 summer collection, you can link this publication with other blog posts. If the "2013 Summer Collection" are the terms you want to sort, then you have accessed a publication using these keywords.

By doing this, you help Google by telling Google what this publication is about. This will improve your classification.

Linking to other posts on your blog with relevant keywords improves the ranking chances of this publication

Action: Check your posts to see if you can improve internal links.

5. Get external links to the publication

Google likes when external websites are linked to a publication. Find an online audience to benefit from the publication and get closer to websites that have these large audiences and let them know about the publication. Then they can promote the publication and access it.
Another method is to publish a guest on a site related to a topic relevant to the publication and link it to the publication.

The external links of the High Authority website are one of the most important classification factors
